Found on Sooke Bluffs beach, one black battery cover: Attwood, Sea Guard Battery Case. 12" width.

Not a super expensive item, but I figure may as well use it, rather than more plastic for the landfill.

One of my biggest pet peeves..... plastic in the water. Good on ya for grabbing it up from the beach. It ends up breaking down into very small pieces until its small enough to make it into the food chain where it gets eaten which is where it really becomes a problem. I know plastic in the landfill is bad but in the water is a lot worse.... thanks for letting me vent... Steve.
