fishing in the chilcotin

Hi everyone,
I am going fishing up in the chilcotin to fish lake and the big onion lake by taseko lake. I have been to fish lake when I was younger and it was lots of fun but I have never been to the big onion. I was told it was better than fish lake? If anyone has some info or advice on these lakes that would be appreciated. Also any other good lakes up there? I like fishing smaller lakes in the belly boat and not those huge wind blown trolling lakes. Thanks for all your help
