fish on sports - radar arch any good?

It was ok. Low quality finishing but it's very functional. Rod holds are a little misaligned from one to the next. Overall I'd buy it again but it isn't a hand built piece of stainless steel art

Hopefully you had the patience to run wires before mounting it
I didn't and regretted it spending 4hrs running 3 wires

My finished Atlantic Arch, wires hid inside the arch for the antennas , rigid light and power wires of the G3. But didnt want to drill the holes wider so ran the G3 connection outside, maybe not the best idea but we will see. I have 4 welded rod holders along the top of the arch and 4 bolt ons which are not Atlantic but in my view better (and cheaper), they are

I think you can take them down for winter storage. Deck or side mount I think depends of which boat as above I don't think he could deck mount but I have a thunder jet and have to deck mount. So I think it just depends on the type make and model of boat.

deck mount easily folds forwards/backwards when two bolts are removed, side mount you would have to remove all 4 mounting boltsto flop it down.

as for deck vs side mount, use deck mount if there is a horizontal surface you can mount it on, side mount if you have a walk around/ verticle side.

i used side mounts on my slanted gunwhale, just had to ovalize the two bolt holes to mount the base

Hi, my original post was in buy and sell but now I am have one made locally, Comox Valley. It is not complete yet, light brackets for rear, spot light for front,a radar arch and rod holder still to go on. But looking good so far.

Another picture just about finished. Does anyone know how powder coating would work on the arch.

ive been looking into powder coating lately too, seems like a good paint like endura (2 part) would be the better choice
