Filling small holes & bottom paint?

I’m filling a Couple screw holes on my transom and plan on using West Systems fibreglass repair to fill the holes. The holes are below the waterline but in the bottom paint. Will I need to apply any gelcoat after filling the holes but before applying the bottom paint?

No, once you fill the hole just give it a light sand and paint away
