There are events all over the province that enable young and old to go out fishing for FREE. No licence required.
Courtenay Fish and Game is hosting a big event on the 18th and 19th at the club's pond at Comox lake . Over 1000 trout will be available for anyone that cares to show up and try fishing. Thrifty Foods will be providing free hotdogs and pop/water. 9AM to 4 PM daily.
