Everyday post a photo of a reel you own.

I have an Allcock (?) Aerielite. Made in England, wood, that's all I know. Picked it up in some lot of fishing gear a few years back.

this is on a shelf in my man room and i have no info on it, and no distinguishing makers mark. it has wooden handles and the hardware is brass. this is 9” in width. i’m assuming this is commercial application? my dad used to use it for lings and hali when i was young.

Received this rod and reel almost 60 years ago for my birthday. My parents and I would go to Beaver Lake (Kelowna area) numerous times a year in the 60s and 70s and fish for trout. When not out on the boat and needing some entertainment, so I would fly fish the shoreline and always caught something.
It has now been hanging on my rod rack for over 40+ years. I got the salmon fishing bug and never went back to trout fishing.

That’s awesome!

I have a similar reel. I'll dig it out and see if it has any marks.

Started yesterday, finished today. Reconditioned. It was a rescue reel that someone tossed out.
