Dash Cam

I am thinking of installing a dash cam on one of our vehicles. Not looking for anything real fancy, just something that will record what is going should I get in a fender bender.
Any suggestions?

I’ve had a dash cam for over 2 years. Yesterday, I had car back into me in a parking lot. So, finally I figured my dash cam footage would be of use. Unfortunately after looking at the footage, my camera had stopped recording seconds before the accident. Turns out I had a motion sensor setting turned on that would automatically shut off after a few minutes and then start up again.

So, whichever brand/model you go with, be sure it’s set up correctly and you won’t have to learn the hard way!
