Crayfish in beaver/elk lake?

im trying to "match the hatch" and im wondering if there are any crayfish in elk lake or anywhere on vancouver island for that matter

Most rivers and lakes around Nanaimo are full of them; so I would imagine they would be in lakes and rivers around Victoria.

Lots in Thetis area lakes and streams which isn't far off.

I recall seeing some in Elk Lake at the boat launch.This was quite a few years ago,but I'd imagine they're still in there.
Can't say for sure though.

Just about everywhere......it's easier to find lakes/rivers with them then to find lakes/rivers without them.
