Crabbing in Ucluelet

I have booked into the West Coast Motel late June. Last year I was on the Canadian Princess charters, and this year I plan to fish out of my own boat. I noticed crab traps coming out of the harbor. Any idea how the crabbing is, and how deep the water is for crabbing?

Should be okay in June. Lots of females and small ones later as that area gets hit hard in July and August. <50ft, but current moves pretty good so use enough line and some weight in your pot. Keep it out of the main traffic areas. Some people try farther up the inlet but we haven't yet.
