Cowichan river

I am headding up to stolts pool this weekend. Bringing both fly and casting. Any thing I sould know about? What to go for, are there steeles there or any salmon running or should I aim for trout?

Well to start you might want to check the regs... I think there is NO fishing below Skutz Fallz period .. fly or not.. and only fly above skutz fallz...

I could be wrong but check..
