Did a little fly fishing upriver from the gun club. I've fished here many years and always did well. This time- nothing. I put on the goggles and floated a couple of pools. Saw ONE trout. Last year saw 00's??
Whats up?? Lots of mergansers on the river.
Just a steady stream of drunks on inner tubes floating the river and chucking garbage in the river.

i heard their was some topless chicks floating down there too i bet people would be pissed to see those float by while fishing

Last year they had cops waiting for people on the tubs, and would take there beer . I have gone down my self pretty fun. took a bag for garbage. Might end up going this weekend .
Hopefully the chicks are back there next time I go !

I was out a couple times this past month and found that the trout fishing was terrible. I tried every fly I had with me and nothing? The year before I couldn't keep them off.

Traditionally, when the weather heats up, go upstream, try spring pool at sun-up, fish up stream until you hit houses, long leaders a must...cheers
