Anyone fished the Cowichan lately?

I am thinkg of going for some big 'ol chums this weekend. Any recent news of river and fishing conditions from anyone out there???

Fished it a couple weeks ago. hooked into a couple chum river was to fast and would just snap the line(20lb)as soon as it ran down river .
lots of fish in the river(two weeks ago ).I would think the river is alot lower now .

river is very low now.I haven't fished it but cross it every day.I believe the coho/chum retention has ended.
