I'd love to know a few spots to try. New to boating all together. Was out today and couldn't get a thing lol any suggestions?

It'''s getting a little late for them,but I would try 3in. Tomic plugs 120 ft. behind the boat with no weigh in 20 ft. of water
close to shore for cutthroat trout. Remember there is a non retention of all cutthroat and rainbow trout over 50cm all year in
Cowichan Lake.If you go to Cowichan Fly and Tackle and talk to Gordy March,the owner,he'll set you up with some of the
best colors and give you a few tips as to areas and tactics. Good Luck!!
