Not mine but I always see neat stuff come up. Thought id share this add for any old rod buffs. Im tempted just to hang it on my wall.

Very Rare Hurd super caster made in Detroit Michigan
The rod itself is famous for having been made from the metal antennas of surplus Sherman Tanks!!!
Extremely rare to find in usable condition.
These were only made with tank whips from 1947 to 1948
Look them up. Beautiful parkerized walnut grip scales and a unique grip shaped sort of like an old flintlock pistol.

Saw one of those in Phoenix area market last winter, guy wanted $150 for it.
 
One second after I posted this on here I decided I really wanted it lol. I sent him a email right away but I haven't heard back :( :rolleyes:
