Hey Folks.

A buddy and I are going to be in Kelowna for a week or so towards the end of March. We're avid fishermen on the east coast, do a lot of ocean kayak fishing for cod, pollack, flounder, striped bass, Mackerel... Lots of fresh water for Pickerel, bass, trout, perch etc.

We are looking for a couple of pointers on which lakes to fish in Kelowna if we only have maybe 1 or 2 opportunities for a bit. Also what part of the lakes, what we should be targeting, bait/tackle etc?

Not sure we will have time, but is there any place decent to rent a small fishing boat or fishing kayaks?

Thanks!

Okanagan Lake ( there are guides available) for largish trout.
Wood Lake for kokanee (landlocked sockeye salmon)
