Chehalis or Vedder?

I will be on the mainland for a change this weekend and need to choose between these two for some Saturday fishing.

Its been a couple of years since I've fished the Vedder (too busy fishing on the Island) but I managed the Chehalis last year mid-Nov.

Which (if any) is a better choice right now?

I know from past experience that the crowds on the Vedder usually keep me away ... but as I've got only one day on the mainland, I need to make a choice.

Any legitimate suggestions?

I'll check out the Chehalis in the canyon to get away from the crowds.
