Charlie White Is Gone

I will cherish his books forever and always think of his genius everytime I look at my downriggers.

Nope Charlie invented the Scotty downrigger.

From what i read Blaney Scott and Charlie white worked together
developing the Scotty product, thus it's name. "Scotty"

All I know is that Charlie is credited with its invention, I would assume Blaney took it to market.

A true icon he was a great guy met him a few times,he was indeed ahead of his time for inventing things we all have seen major changes just in my life time and im sure more to come.

As for ol scotty I remember when I was a wee kid (yes wee) LOL my Dad would take me down there and dad would have "coffee" with him as my Dad was a truck driver and delivered all his products to him,sometimes we would stay for hours as the BS the sometimes nights away.
Both of these great men have/will be missed but will never be forgoten
