Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Good price on a big Striper dual console. Someone was looking for one recently.

Is there a thread on this forum on how to get boats up from the states, pre - covid? I imagine now not very practical?

Was it you that was looking for the dual console? Yes there have been a couple of threads on how to get a boat up here during the border closure. I’m sure there is a member that will reply shortly. That’s the great thing about this group.

Nope not me, but curious nonetheless.
Should be pretty easy once you have two shots. Your biggest issue is finding a good boat, I went down for one that I had surveyed and turned out it was damaged and barely came back with a boat the second time as the broker had done a very poor job keeping the second boat dry and winterized over the winter. Calculate 1.5x the list price, if you are lucky as you often have trailer issues. Make sure the trailer has the tire and gvwr stickers, as minimum. Brakes on all axles and electronic over hydraulic is preferred but often not happening for most boat buys in the US.

Buddy went and looked at this. Lot of cracked welds, very thin gauge aluminum and motor doesn’t run.

1980 Calglass 22’ - hard top with bulkhead. $26,000.
