Beer Batter for Fish

Here is a link for a beer batter that I have used several times for cod that turns out quite well. I use olive oil for pan frying the cod and you have to keep your heat down below medium or it will burn the oil. I add in a teaspoon of dill to the recipe and keep the salt to less than one teaspoon.
I don't always use a warm, flat beer in the batter either, a cold beer works too....a cold beer helps to quench ones thirst as well!!

Edit: It is important to cut your fillets to no more than 1/2 inch in thickness as the batter cooks in 2 minutes per side. This is consistence with restaurant style fillets for cod or hallie.
Enjoy!!
