BC Hydro Smart Meters

Some time ago I wrote BC Hydro saying I was against WIFI meters but against the meter itself. I wanted mine wired in. Never heard boo back from them. Well, everyone on the street now has a new meter cept me!

We've sent then away twice and haven't seen them back!

After refusing the 1st time,last week I got a call from a B.C Hydro rep trying to get me to cave in.I politely gave him a list of reasons why I refuse to have a smart meter installed.He said he understood my concerns but assured me the "written in stone mandate" is to have them installed on all B.C homes - Dec/2012.My response was "good luck with that one"

Nice another B.C gov fiasco rammed down our throats with little or no prior consoltaion - family friendly my arse!
