Bait selection

Now that we have a bounty of pilchards pushed in near shore,has anyone changed their bait to match?It would seem only logical to me that sardines would be more effective than anchovey now.Has anyone had success?
Will try my hypothesis tomorrow and let you know how it goes,in case i am the only one NOT fishing today.

Let us know how that works out. I was thinking the same thing when I picked up bait today for tomorrows fishing.
I may even try some plugs?
