B.C. closes its provincial campsites to non-residents this summer

Assuming this is the response to folks’ lack of ability to follow simple advice from our Public Health Officers to stay local?

Alberta and Saskatchewan have put in similar measures.

“B.C. has followed Alberta's lead with a rule to disallow anyone from outside the province to book any campsites this summer.”

Now if they would only open up the boat ramps!

It should support the argument to open them, for sure! I hear it’s also allowing them to permit tenting and use of pit toilets, rather than limit camping to those with self contained RV/trailers?
