I've been fishing single speed avet's and Accurate's for hali and jigging rods. I prefer the accurate but price and availability have me looking elsewhere.
Has anyone tried the seigler lever or star drags out for a season or two?
One benefit of the seigler is I can get parts and service done quick during the season. The avet and accurate stuff I get serviced on the east side every off season but that doesn't do me any good if I have trips left in August and pop a bearing..
The seiglers are pretty simple in design....
