Any Bass action yet?

Anyone catching any bass yet? Heard of the odd one being caught. Its almost time to dust off the baitcaster and the bass tackle.

i got one about a month ago at glen lake 3.5lber trolling a fly. It was a lucky fish, needless to say.

I fished all day @ Oliphant on Tuesday, using every bass lure I had, not a bite.
Them buggers are still sleeping, not going to bother with them again til May.
Kunni is the man, just sayin !

haha barely slaying, its my one and only bass since late september. It was fun catching a nice sized bass while trout fishing though.

Im hoping to get out and try and get one this week. Water temp at my favourite spot last time out was 56 so its getting warm enough to start seeing some action

wow 56 is that in the south island? Im not trying to steal your spot but thats super warm. I was at elk and it was around 50-52

Elk is also much deeper than the lake I was at and easily 4 times the size

Water was at 44.5 8 days ago where I was fishing now its 56.5 Crazy Eh! And look at the fishing. Going from 10-15 hits a day to over 100 hits in a day!

I love this time of year! Just not the April showers somtimes!
