Advice Please

Be visiting Smithers late Aug or Sept. Been there two years ago,one small res trout out of the Bulkley,one Pink after 1000 casts from remote Skeena sand bar. Amazing not much help from the locals re technique etc.Unbelievably more,zilch from the inlaws.
There fore any bits of advise would sure be appreciated. I do have access to a boat on the Babine Lake by the way. Im open to river,stream and lake fishing.

man oh man you are going to a great place 2 fish , just use the same techniques as on the coast i.e river fishing , big rivers go 2 steelhead float tec,if low and clear go small, lakes troll, tomic plugs or gang trolls , apex spoons what ever , ya gotta switch up , never have bananas in your boat or in your lunch lol . have fun
