You have to make the media public-not private

Excuse my ignorance guys, how do you do that ?

Go to your media files. On the picture(s)/albums you want to make public or available to members, click on the little box in the top left corner of the picture. A drop down menu will appear. Click on 'privacy' and then choose whether you want the picture/album open to anyone who views your post or members only.

I can't find the option to make media public, the drop down box does not contain that ?

Go to 'media', then to 'your albums'. Click on the little box in the upper left corner of the picture. The first drop down menu should say 'other action' - click on that which will bring a second drop down menu with 'change privacy of album. Click on 'public' or 'members only'.

There is no privacy option there
