Awesome video. It really is a travesty to see what has been done around this country regarding big business. I know life is different now compared to days gone by, but just imagine what the ocean and places like the west coast and Haida Gwaii would be like today without “money talks” way of life. I know I have imagined living 100 or so years ago. I will bet that most of us outdoors people have. Would have loved to see Haida Gwaii before colonization, it must have been beyond incredible.

Great video. The section on the herring fishery, and the destruction of the stocks is something that has, and is being played out along the coast over and over again. The most destructive fishery there is, having negative consequences on all species, all the way up to humans like the Haida.
