Storm, I am right there with you. I'd rather spend $100 in Canada than $50 in China any day. When you buy crappy cheap fishing stuff you end up fighting with exactly the thing that is supposed to bring you joy. I'm not into that at all. Buy your last tool first.

I like the look of those artificial eggs. They look very real, they almost look good enough to eat. Keep up the good work.

Have you looked into making curly tails for tying jigs? Pinks, purples, white, blues, chartreuse? Jigs are awesome for Coho in the rivers.
