I have that setup. My pod is shaped to extend the keel length for improved ride.
I run twin 150 Merc 4 strokes.

I will try and remember to take some measurements the next time I go down there

Is yours in the water right now? It would be awesome to get some pics too. I managed to scrape up some info on one of the very few Island Runner 26' boats that was built with twin outboards. They would use Armstrong brackets or custom made pods. They didn't do much for ballast, just a larger fuel tank strictly for capacity in the same location as they felt the twin 2 strokes would chug gas faster than the single IO. They would add an extra layer of 3/4" marine ply to the transom and more layers of glass and that's pretty much it.

I guess the bar napkin math would say that a single Yamaha 175 HP 2.6L V6 Carbureted 2 Stroke 25" weighed about 430 lbs so a pair of 30" engines was about 900 lbs. That is out back further than the 1,100 lbs 320GXi so I guess it sort of balanced out...what's a new 300HP DP Suzuki, 750lbs? Add on the 110lbs for the yamaha and you're in similar striking range to what they built the factory boats at.

Yes it is in the water. What kind of pics are you looking for? We also glassed in a layer of 3/4 plywood in the inside of the transom. FYI i have 25 inch legs

Just the profile of the pod to the V of the hull, not a huge deal. If you had a single, I'm assuming you'd have gone 30"?
