Sorry, but that is good to hear. We went from Stamp Narrows to Hocking, not a sniff. Saw a couple caught at Hocking. Forgot my anchovies so only had hootchies and spoons. Nothing worked.

I fished China creek from about 9-1130 and picked up one 15lb spring on bait. Moved down to Assits for a couple hours after that and had no luck.

We hit hocking for a bit around high slack 11 to 1230 on our way back from Barkley. No hits for us at hocking but saw a big one jump and then just after our buddy boat had a good hit that was lost. Seemed pretty slow but heard of a couple caught there earlier in the day.

2 for 3 on the nite bite at leaning tree tonight while listening to Canucks. .,,,,, Must be 50 commercial boats out there tonight

Got into a couple yesterday morning at Hocking. Today spent a good chunk of mid day in the harbour with nothing to show but the bite turned on after the slack tide and into the evening, some good action before the gill netters started. Anchovies, 40-70 at Hocking and 25-40 in Harbour.

Are not the Gillnetters usually held off until the derby is over.

Heading up tonight till Thursday, hope there is still some left before the ocean rapers are done.

Fished 5:30 to 12:30 today in and around China Creek. 25-100ft and all the gear we had and 1 small shaker was all she had. Saw 1 fish caught about 8:30 at Lone tree and that was it. Lots of boats and marked lots of bait. Saw a few nice size jumpers. Saw the test boat working his way up the inlet but the 2 sets we watched were empty. Full moon and change in weather pattern equals a very SLOW day. Great weather and flat calm. Back at it tomorrow

tseshaht first nation upset they didn't get enough Chinook, they've blocked the Clutesi ramp. According to a CHEK news report.

Slow for us fished 5:30-12 and picked up 1 about 12lbs right in front of the China Creek marina. Saw only 1 fish caught. So still slow. Yours was on a spoon at 55ft
