Well the time has come where we just don’t get out on the boat enough anymore, so it’s time to let it go. I purchased the boat in 2021 locally and have enjoyed many great days of local vancouver salmon fishing and many runs over to entrance for deep rooted springs.
Im going to have the boat professionally detailed in the next week or two so it will be all ready for fishing this year. It’s currently drystacked at Milltown Marina. I’ll post some better pics post detail but attached are just some handy ones I have from my phone

Here’s some info on the boat.

It’s a 2005 282 sailfish with 05 Yamaha 225’s

Lots of nice upgrades. 9.6 beam and towable with most new half tons. So much room to fight fish, haul people and traps. One of the best hulls for BC.
I would not want to tow this rig with a half tone🙄, nice boat

13k towing capacity on the top Chevy 1500, that under what she would be loaded to the gills for tuna. I’ll re-phrase that, with new half tons with the max tow package.
You ever towed 10000 lbs with a half ton??? I don’t care what the dealers says,in flat lands Alberta maybe, but here going up and down the hump going to port Albernie , or the Malahat pushing you down the hill those brakes on the half ton would cook IMO, friend of mine was towing a big travel trailer with a half ton, well below what max weight was he just about left brown marks in his shorts coming down the coq , he has a one ton ford now lol

Yeah I hear you. I didn’t like towing my little boat with an old 3/4 ton. Tows much nicer w a 1 ton. I guess between the cut, alberni pass, coch and Malahat most should have a 1 ton but I’m just trying to help a guy sell a boat. We are way off topic.

An afford that boat can afford a truck to tow it, or get pros to tow it for you. Again nice boat

Tommy, don’t do it. She is too nice of a boat to let go, especially after all the upgrades you have put in to make it the ultimate fishing machine. The kids will grow up soon and you will eventually have lots of time to fish or go cruising with the family on the gulf islands. Like any good thing, once you let it go, it’s going to be hard to find another one like this.
