Hi folks, I'm considering repowering the boat but need to sell this motor on it before I finalize a deal. Details on the motor are it is original to the boat, all servicing was done at forsh marine in Sidney by the previous owner, I had it inspected Gen y Marine Jason Forseburg when I bought the boat and it's confirmed at that time (april 2021) by computer readout to have 219 hours on it and no fault codes registered in it's history. I've probably added 5 to 10 hours on it now. When I had it inspected I had the thermostats replaced. Everything is in working order good to excellent. Full disclosure we did see some of the corrosion present in the exhaust dry side, I did not have the powerhead removed to see if it got to the powerhead or not. It is still on the boat and can be seen running. It is a 2002 motor original to the boat, and my understanding from the previous owner who is elderly gentlemen him and his wife used the boat to go to Pender and back to visit family occasionally, they don't seem like the type to wot all over the place either. Asking $6300.00 obo 703 control box, cables, and guage will come with the motor. Whichever shop I end up dealing with for the repower will remove for me and we can arrange picking up the motor. I'm repowering now, I got it setup. Difference is now it has another 20 hours on the main motor, a turning point stainless prop, and I'm including kicker with guages.
-2002 yamaha xl v6 200hp motor
-2002 yamaha 9.9 kicker motor
-all controls and guages
-all will come complete ready for pickup at dealership when I get my repower done.
