not sure exactly, although they had another boat
sidelined for about 10 mins.
i had them check me once, they checked life jackets
heaving line, sounding device, bailer etc.
i was ok, but they can fine you for improper equipment.

hard flood started around 12:30 or 1:00pm
wolf is right, early is best for anchoring.

Great conditions on the waterfront today
lost 2 springs, felt like pretty decent fish for
the short time they were hooked

purple haze squirt trolled about 150' deep, near the bottom

crabbing was good in oak bay for a change
got 2 large, 2 medium hard shell dungeness.

anybody else ?

Awesome day on the water, Mount baker was clear as I ever seen it.

37 lb hally at constance around 11:30 am. After that the tide picked up as I was told it would. Although anchored at constance, I felt like I was fishing pedder bay as the tide pulled so much line out.

Funny thing, tide was flooding after noon but current was going west, not east?? Back eddy maybe?

Go by the current tables its a lot closer for hali fishing murray tables is one also nobeltec if you know of someone to put it on your comp.or just the tidal book is close as it also has the current tables in it as well most sporting /fishing stores have them

Good luck Wolf
