going to look at a 19 foot aluminum bluewater tomo with a mercruiser 3.0 in it just wondering if you are able to troll for salmon with these engines or if you need a kicker to do the trolling?
I've got a 19' fiberglass boat with a 3.0L from the early 90's, it trolls @ 2.4mph on the gps. Works for me, but still drag the kicker around for peace of mind.
