19-3 19-4 closed now?

Was looking forward to fishing Oak Bay- Victoria for June hatchery springs, looks like it's closed now? Can someone confirm, last Sunday was excellent, three beauty hatch springs all before 9am

Closed. Yesterday was last day May 31 but can still catch and release.

It was great that we had a May opening this year for hatcheries. Sounds like you got some fish in the freezer.

Only managed to get out for one trip in the past month, , seemed like May was windy more often than not, had hoped DFO would have extended the opening, wishful thinking I guess

It was a bonus getting May back for hatchery fish.
I am hoping next year April will also be included.
DFO shuts us down for 4 years and gives back a month
and we are grateful. Sad.

Yep. and we didn't even get that here in Vancouver. Nada!
