Bamfield tuna shootout!!! September 22 - october 1

Any open seats for tomorrow? I've got no crew for the Reef Raider, was thinking about heading down today in the the "go-fast" boat and Hopping on with someone else if theres room....

That sucks no crew.

Boats are looking kinda fullish, but no idea what's gonna shake out by skippers meeting at 5:30... put mills on speed dial and call there about then.

There are a couple other bodies looking, so if you'd be open to your rig I'm sure Dogbreath and Firelight would leap. Got smwt's chomping....

I've got a second now. Anyone else that wants to hop on send me a pm. I will plow down there tonight.

Right on. Well I'm going to do a quick fuel filter change and then get ready to splash. I'm sure we will find the bodies to fill the seats

Ha ha I just copied this one and zoomed in on it. We all have silly grins on our faces. I hear tuna fishing will do that to a person and it takes days to go away LOL!

I shoulda stayed up there with my niece she'd be safe as long as you guys were out there for tuna.

I'll need to come up and get my prize in person. Maybe for winter springs and prawns.

I'll be waiting for the next report and pics, go get some tuna.

Just looked at Terrafin and there is still a nice patch of warm water over the Barkley Canyon and the chloro looks better than last weekend! Go get em!!!!

48 19.81 / 126 00.20 looks like a good starting point. North side of the structure in the shallows. Troll SW from there.

Have not been able to confirm anything for next 2 days..... Anybody planning on heading out mon/tues/weds ? If so, or anytime next week really, pm. Checked daily.
 
I haven't got access to the Terrafin but I'm looking at swell watch and except for a small period this morning it looks decidly SH#te out there. Am I missing something on the way you guys plan your trips?
