Perfect, see ya then. Will be working hard on something...and if the weather sucks we'll be getting beer drinking practice. Bring the prawn traps...should be getting good again. Gota figure out how to wire in an inverter to our system...do you have any expertise in this area...we pay in beers.

well the skunk is on inside,, boo hiss. nothing to report, been a great spring summer in grappler, thanks to all for info and good fishn and good times!!! see ya next season!!

Halibut closure Sucks
Fished Bamfield this week end, spring fishing was slow so we went to Swale and fished for bottom fish , guess what hooked a 75 # hali and after 40 minute fight had to release her at the boat what **** off, did the right thing according to the regs but it hurt. We normally run to 20 mile burn up 200 bucks worth of gas beat the crap out of us and get a couple of chickens, any how a good day on the water.

text sent - simple needs actually - we are only looking to run a fridge and few lights. hoping to produce enough power via solar panel and batteries to run a fridge or small freezer.

Truth hurts, but we want accurate reports out there. Could change if you get some coho blast in. Still some to come in yet. Would not be surprised to see a few more prawns. Plan to find out when we are up again at the cabin. Crabs sucked last time out. Worse case we can just catch a few ICE COLD silver bullets.:p

When there are coho comming in on the tide into the river WHY is there no Alberni Coho fishery in the inlet???? Seems strange to me.....Is it 0 coho in the inlet?

Off topic for a report, but salmon tend to get tight lipped when they enter their natal stream, so if the catching is good in the river, how are people catching them and why not the same catch rates in the inlet? Geez, could it be.........flossing? Not saying all are lined but a good portion.
