New Salish 33' Liquid Metal Custom Build

Very nice!

What's your projected weight, full of fuel and water?
15 - 16 thousand pounds according to the builder. Figured that on a tuna trip with gear, ice, beer, and full of fuel, it might tip closer to 17,000 plus. It will be interesting to run it over the weigh scales.

Awesome set up !!
looks like you’ll be right at you GVWR on the trailer. I guess at that weight, you’re better off with the goose neck.

I’m sooooo excited! What a spectacle that thing will be on the road. I’ll be your spotter anytime!

Yeah. It reduces some of the overall length and distributes the weight forward versus handing entirely off of the hitch. I also put airbags in my diesel one ton to better handle the weight.

I know it probably somewhere in the thread but what are the overall dimensions of this impressive build? That trailer may be overkill but I always go bigger as the extra stability will help when towing. I still can’t get over the pic of it wrapped sitting there, it looks huge.

The beam is 10' 6". It is a 33 but LOA including engines will be 39'1"

It floats! Into the water yesterday to mark the water line for bottom paint. Filled her with the full 1000 litres. Definitely a heavy tow compared to my current boat, especially with full water and fuel tanks. Getting really close to actual sea trials. Still have some interior cabinetry, the Ultradecking, and lots of small things left to complete. June 26th target datetempImagecrxXCx.pngtempImagejHBu35.pngtempImage6T1LkO.pngtempImageOCdUw1.png
