I could never understand the open transom and flip down wall to raise the engines on some of these older Grady’s. I opted for the pod/bracket Seafarer, much safer in a following sea in my opinion. That configuration must devalue the boat.

Brand name recognition is tough, defiance and its predecessor tidewater? but don't have the brand name following like some others. Also when checking out one on sale a few years ago the all fibreglass look inside made it feel a little cheap, not saying it was. I feel like it would have retailed back then for a similar price.
