odd fish

What was the most odd fish/thing you've ever caught?

In the Strait of Georgia, odd things I've caught on hook and line include:

A sand dollar
Sea Cucumber
Moon Snail
Great Sculpin (HUGE compared to a normal bullhead)
Crab Traps (lost)
Octopus
Mackerel
A lingcod that tangled up a dungeness crab in the line while it was running around.... got both into the boat
Ratfish (haven't seen one of these for a long time)
Half a Sole (a dogfish got it on the way up to the boat and I was left with the head and a little of the body)

That's about all I can think of at the moment... what about you?

Caught several Hake Heads out of Barkley Sound a couple weeks ago. The Dogs were really thick and they wanted them more than I did, so all I ever saw were the heads.

Not long ago I was Sturgeon fishing in the Columbia River. Current was running hard and I thought I had a Boone & Crocket Sturgeon. When I got it to the boat, it turned out to be a crusty old lawn chair.
