The Fanny Bay Enhancement Society, in partnership with the Hart Creek Watershed Society and the Nile Creek Enhancement Society, would like to invite all members of all stewardship and enhancement groups as well as the general public to the Second Annual "River Never Sleeps Festival" on Sunday, May 3, 2009 a the Fanny Bay Hatchery.

Among the many activities will be touch tanks, releasing of salmon by children, face and fish painting, fish dissections, fly tying, casting demos and many other hands-on activities throughout the day. Visitors can tour the hatchery and interact with representatives of Pacific Salmon Foundation, Department of Fisheries, Malaspina Fisheries Program, Pacific Streamkeepers Federation, sponsor volunteers and others. A variety of food and drinks will be available. Rosewall Creek Hatchery is located on Berray Rd., off of Highway 19A, 1.8 km north of the Cook Creek exit.
