Bristol Bay Under Fire!

    I worked on a boat that packed sockeyes from Bristol Bay to Vancouver in '80 and then in '81 we stayed for over a month and offloaded gillnetters and transferred them to bigger processing ships, before bringing a final 200,000lbs home.
    Unbelievable all wild biomass. It'd be a shame to mess with it.

    I watched a documentary of this where they were interviewing the mine owner...Quite the nut-job. Complete lunacy happening with their new administration in place. No environmental oversight at all. Rape and pillage.
