The new wanna be trophy photos are taken by obvious rookies,note the lack of personal flotation devices and bleeding the catch before dispatch. One of my most glorious days was getting a double hit on the north side of the deer group right in front of BILL HOURSTON who was on a guided tour at the time ,unfortunately the outside strike was cutoff immediatly by a marauding local guide who swooped in to close ( my daughters fish).I never noticed but Bill later told me of the event at the Bamfield Hotel,but thats fishing.Ive never taken Bill up on his offer of 10% Off on my next Hourston boat,you see at the time i had a 16 foot Hourston and he with his friends on the day charter was quite thrilled seeing the action on one of his boats,Said "I made him look Good".Thats it for now as im looking for photos for my next post.
