I need a decent 3 axle trailer for a 28 ft 2019 Campion Explorer with twin outboards. Weighs approx 10,000 lbs. Needs EOH Brakes and would like bearing savers plus LED lighting if possible.
DM me with any offers.
All suggestions gratefully received.

You may be aware but you'll need a Heavy Trailer endorsement and a Class V hitch and a truck tow rating for a GVW of around 12,000 pounds with the trailer. Otherwise it's a breach of insurance conditions.

Thanks. I wondered what that was about. The Truck 2500 HD 4wd is heavy enough. I used to haul 3 horses in a large Gooseneck so I know it can do the weigh and it has the brake controller. Not sure of the category of the bumper hitch. I will check. Then i t looks like anther trip to ICBC before I can haul the boat!

I have a 2010 822 campion explorer with volvo penta D-300 diesel , loaded with gear, fuel, and water, on 15000lb trailer, weighs 14500lbs on the scale. Tow with 2015 chevy hd3500 dully, hitch rated for 19800lbs

Your hull is the same as mine but I have twin Yamaha 250’s. It weighed in just over 10,000 on the boatyard lift. So with water and fully fuelled would make 11000 to 12000, plus the trailer. My GMC 2500 is older than yours but “young at heart”. Hitch is class V. But asks for load sharing to pull up to 12,500? I presume that is the extra bars, which I have from an earlier horse box. I am reasonably happy that the truck can do it, barring steep wet ramps.
I originally bought this truck to pull a 22’ inboard aluminum jet with a 5.2 l V8 in it. The truck before was 2 wheel drive and I had a couple of occasions when I was temporarily stuck when it span out on a wet ramp.

Was the D4-300 Diesel a Campion option or did you add later?

You should have no trouble. My boat/trailer comes in at 11,000 pounds. My 2500 HD 4x pulls it out, no problems. Wider loads should have a permit and flags but why attract the attention? 😂
