The time has come and gone once again for the annual egg take. This years take was mildly successful, with a half tank chinnok and 2 full tanks of chum. Early estimates put the Chinook take at about 1500 eggs and the Chum take at about 3000 eggs. This years take seen Vince and Bags spending hours and hours weeding through male Chum after Male Chum to find our ripe *****. Countless spawned out empty tanks were hauled in, cursed at and thrown back in. It seemed to be about 20 male chume for every female, wich made it very frusterating to fill the order. The order has been filled and we are set for another BAIT FILLED year on Vancouver Island. Those dumb summers and winters don't stand a chance! Thanx to Country Grocer for supplying the Zippy's, Thrifty foods for the Salt and to all others that sent encouraging letter's for this years hunt!!
