Oh that is a hoot !!! The Feds HAVE the tools and we still have our fish stocks in serious ( or worse) trouble. Sure, the provinces are ignoring environmental regulations--- but if anyone thinks that lack of provincial oversight is the prime cause of the sorry state our environment and fish stocks are in-- then I have a patch of swampland I will sell cheap---- Dont worry about that pesky Fisheries Act just because its home to endangered fish, amphibians and a nesting site for migratory birds! Ottawa got rid of most of those officers that previously looked after all that stuff.... Its called PROGRESS ( and pass the buck )
