Prop Help Please!

I seem to recall that you will gain about 500 rpm with every inch of pitch drop; suggestion sounds pretty right-on. Many benefits to a 4 blade prop expect top speed due ti the drag of the extra blade. I think if the 4 blade is stainless that prop would work as well. They can put a more aggressive cup on a stainless prop.

Where is the cavitation plate in relation to the bottom of the V when trimmed down to the same horizontal position as the boat hull?

When fully trimmed down, the bottom of the cavitation plate makes a small angle with the horizontal hull line. But then I usually cruise at 90% on the trim gauge.

Can always move it up one hole and go to that 15 pitch. I bet you'll be laughing then.
