Port Alberni Coho

Is anything happening yet near Port Alberni in the canal for coho? I'm wondering if it is worthwhile to go out and try for them.

I was there a couple of weeks ago, and it was dismal. Watched a seiner pull in a set. 3 Chinook and 15 coho! Not very good. We ended up fishing the river, and did much better. A friend was there last weekend and was catching a few, coloured coho. Sounds like it may be done for this year.
