That's good for conservation Sooke River is NOT a strong run, besides, lotsa winter fish to go for, and the odd coho if you work at it.

There is some nice feeder 'winter' springs out there.We kept a 16 & 8lber and let go some more on a boat ride last sat.. on anchovy w/ chrome head/green hotspot 6' leader @125FT.[^]

The Muir Point mentioned is actually at the Sooke Bluffs, not Muir Creek. It's just west of Parsons Point at (lat/long) 48 21.436, 123 44.98.

The line runs from there over to the white sign on Possession Point. It's closed inside that line.

i want to try casting in muir creek (by the bridge), could i keep any cohos, or chinooks if i caught any?
