Navionics Question

Hey all,

Just on a friend's boat for a few days and he has a different version of Navionics than I have on my tablet. His a newer version on his tablet.

I remember a post a while back but can't find it. How do you center your boat on the screen as his keeps centering on his house in Vancouver. I can't figure out how to center on the current location.

Ya have tried that but it keeps saying location can not be found.

Are you certain that you are getting a GPS signal ?

That is my concern but we are just in center bay on Gambier.

Try turning the GPS off in “settings” and then turn out back on. I have to do that sometimes with my Raymarine MFD unit

If it’s an iPad, try playing with the settings under Location Services, maybe turn it off, do a hot restart and turn back on. I find the Location Services on my iPad can be finicky at some points.

Does his tablet have built in GPS?
